The kids had a great time participating in Spirit Week at their school a few weeks ago. They wore their pj's one day, crazy socks on another and Maren was the only one who was brave enough for crazy hair day! The ribbons even coordinate with her braces! (The braces have since come off for the second and final time.)
Just look at Davis' state report. He did such a great job with the research and finding all of the pictures and maps. And his hard work payed off with a score of 404 out of 400!
They were required to make a mini float that represented their state. He wanted to create the Grand Canyon, but opted for the Meteor Crater, a river and some cactus. He did a super job and did most of it on his own!
Right before Spring Break, Davis' best buddy, TJ, who moved to Tennesee last August and misses terribly, came for a surprise visit. Dennis checked Davis out of school early. When he got into the car, TJ spoke up from the backseat, "Hi, Davis!" Davis was beyond happy and they spent the afternoon on the basketball court with the other neighborhood boys. Just like old times. We sure miss seeing TJ and Connor around the neighborhood. It really made Davis' day!

TJ had so much fun too!! He sure misses Davis and being able to shoot hoops, throw the football around etc with him everyday! And cute hair Maren and awesome project Davis! Cute pics! Looks like you have been staying busy!
